Dr. Hirsch is one of the only LASIK surgeons in Milwaukee to offer this uniquely precise and uniquely safe addition to the LASIK procedure, resulting in predictably better vision. This technology has gained rapid acceptance for its safety and accuracy over the conventional blade microkeratome.
Dr. Hirsch has experience on multiple types of excimer lasers and has chosen to utilize the VISX S4 Excimer Laser. This laser allows the use of iris registration technology and wavefront aberration treatment. Dr. Hirsch is not alone in his decision as this is the most widely utilized excimer laser for laser vision correction.
